Hi: I really like this extension and have recommended it to all my friends. One question: Under the "general" tab, one of the choices for the modifier I want to use is "meta". Could you explain what that means and how it works? There is also a check box for "Use advanced mode for shortcuts". Could you describe what that means?

Thanks!

The modifier key is the key you press before you press the shortcut key. So before it was always Ctrl + 1 for example. Now you can change to use Ctrl, Alt or Meta. Meta just exists on Mac.

The advanced mode works so that you instead of only have 1 to 0 as shortcuts you can have 0 to any number. And to that to work you press down the modifier key press the number and then when you release the modifier key the text is inserted. So for example if you have 456 as a shortcut you press down Ctrl (or any the modifier key you have choosen) then when you have that key pressed down you press 4, 5 and then 6 and then you release Ctrl.
