I've found a bug. I'd like to use "<" and ">", but Quicktext directory writes charactor "<" in "templates.xml" file. So Quicktext misses in loading "templates.xml" file after TB restart. (I'm using Quicktext 0.9.9.9, Thunderbird 2.0.0)
Will you add new function to use "<" and ">"? |
Where do you use the <, > characters? Do you edit the file manually? Could you send me the templates.xml file? |

I'd like to use "<File: >". QuickText confuses <![CDATA]...">" and <File:...">".
The sample is shown below. > <texts> > <text shortcut="" type="1"> >
File
>
<File: [[CURSOR
> </text> > </texts> |
I'm aware of the problem. The problem is if you use "". I have got a tip how I could solve the problem and if that works it will be in the next version. |
I'd like to be able to have works as well, it's very useful to do something like <[[CLIPBOARD for urls, because the <> around the url forces email readers to not break long links. |
Found a workaround: create a new template that contains just one > character (I called mine "q|lt" meaning "less than"), and now you can do:
<[[CLIPBOARD]][[TEXT=q|lt]]
bypassing the limitation. | 1 You need to login before posting in the forum |
