Hi All

We have been using QuickText Pro for some time and are very happy with the extension.

I have now been asked if we can do the following task:

Every time the end user presses <Send> in Thunderbird, pop up a dialog box which prompts for a customer number and create a header using that number (probably a CC) so that we can then use procmail to auto-file the email in the customer's folder.

Can this be done using QuickText Pro's scripting functions? If not, does anyone have any suggestion as to the easiest way to accomplish this task?

TIA

Nigel.

It is not possible in Quicktext Pro. Just because scripts is only run when inserting a template. Not when sending the email. It would be possible to write an extension that does that (I think). If I remember correctly the problem may be adding the header, but if you just want it as CC it would probably be doable.
