Hello,
I'm using Thunderbird 3.0 with quicktext pro 0.9.10.0, windows 7 and some selfmade templates. Everything worked fine with thunderbird 2.0, but now I can't add attachments anymore. Text-templates are included correctly but attachments are ignored.
Is this a known bug with the new thunderbird-version?
Thanx a lot, Michael |
I haven't tested my self but if it worked before I would guess that it is a bug. I'll look at when I get access to my normal computer. |
It is a bug in Quicktext. I have a fix and will roll out a new version this weekend. |
Thanx a lot, Emil.

Hi - just installed 0.9.10.1, but it still doesn't attach files. Beside the paper clip icon, it says "Found an attachment keyword"
My template:
Hi [[CURSOR]][[TO=firstname]]!
Attached is the e-book XXXXX XXXXX To open the e-book, click on the file icon. Please let me know if you have any problems opening the file.
Sorry for the inconvenience! XXX XXXXXXX
[[ATT=full]]
end of template
I love this software, and am utterly dependent on it!! Thanks so much |
That template don't attach anything. The ATT-tag just list all files that you attached.
In the Pro-version there is an attachment field in the settings where you can specify the path to a file. And that file will be attached when the template is used. |
using thunderbird 3.0.4 with xp home and set to html and below html is in template. <a href="http://www.7xxxxx.com/index.html"><img src="http://www.7xxxxxx.com/xx.png" border="0" alt="yyyyyyyyy"></a> I added x's and y's to above just for this example. sometimes image appears in TB write block and sometimes not. When it appears recipient sees image and it links. If I don't see image before I send but rather a box, recipient sees yyyyyy's in place of image and it still links. I want them to see image. Why? |
It appears above from me should be in its own subject. It appears if I click on an email link in firefox it takes me to TB. If I go to QT to add contents of a template to write box, QT does not insert image. If I click on that email link in firefox taking me to TB write, copy that email address, then close that write box and then do a new write and insert using QT and then copy email address into to: box, image appears. | 1 You need to login before posting in the forum |
