Hello,
you should make available a short date format that provides and enforces ISO 8601:2004 compliance, regardless what silly settings Microgoofy puts in as a standard for a country. In the case of Germany it's still the old outdated short format (07.03.2010) and not the correct short format (2010-03-07) according to ISO 8601:2004. So ist necessary to have long date (alphanumeric), short (numeric, ISO 8601:2004), short (numeric, system) and if you like short (numeric, silly unflexibel, outdatet numeric country-version, like MM/DD/YYYY, which is as silly and outdated as dd.mm.yyyy and nobody in Europe understands.)
Best regards quicktextuser
PS: I'm not a native English speaker, so everyone is allowed to keep any typing or grammatical errors she or he finds in the Text. ;-)
