Hi. I have been using Thunderbird for a long time now and must say that Quicktext is my most valuable extension.
I recently installed the new 1.9.9.9 version and find that some of the functions do not seem to work now on the templates.
I have configured my reply templates with
Hi [[TO=firstname]],
Thanks for your email.
[[CURSOR]]
When I click on this template, the TO=firstname remains empty and the cursor is not on the page. This worked in the older version and I don't see how to fix it.
I have tried reinstalling Quicktext and the same thing happens. I did not save the older version to reinstall it.
Still a great extension, though. |
| The thing I have changed is that [[TO=firstname]] looks in all address books so my guess is that you have that contact in more then one address book and now it checks the other first. |
