Recently upgraded to Linux/Ubuntu v10.4 (LL/LTS), which upgraded Thunderbird to v3.1.10, and have now upgraded QuickText to 0.9.10.3.
I now see that template tags, which worked fine with previous versions of TB and QT, now are failing to expand (insert replacement text) -- that is, a template which looks like this:
Dear [[INPUT=firstname]], text-blah-blah
expands into an email message body without prompting for an input string to expand the tag into, so the template (re)appears literally thus:
Dear [[INPUT=firstname]], text-blah-blah
instead of expanding/replacing the input string, say "Robert", thus:
Dear Robert, text-blah-blah
Is tag replacement now broken in general, or is it maybe just the INPUT tag?
TIA for your help! -- Lorin | 1 You need to login before posting in the forum |
