| Quicktext does not yet work with 6.0. |
| No... It doesn't. 9.11.1 is disabled. How about adding a config option so that we can manually manipulate the compatibility string for these occasions? |
| Just checking in to say that dschaub is not the only person having this issue. Thunderbird 6 still disables Quicktext (the version downloaded from this website, 0.9.11.1, and tells me it's not compatible with Thunderbird 6.0. I'm sure it's a fix that will be handled quickly, as it's always been one of the best add-ons out there. Thanks! |
Hmmm - I installed the "Compatibility Checker" for Thunderbird and, of course, 9.11.0 works. BUT, I noticed that I still had 9.11.0 ??? Weird. I installed the 9.11.1 from file, but TB didn't complain, but it also didn't update.
I just reinstalled 9.11.1... so, I don't really know what happened. |

My AddOns manager was showing 9.11.1 after installing it from the downloaded file. It still did not work. However, the THIRD time I closed and reopened Thunderbird, there were all my QuickText entries, and when I checked the AddOns manager again, it was showing as installed and enabled.
I did nothing but close and reopen Thunderbird several times. But since it somehow fixed itself, I'm happy. LOL
