How does one install the latest version of QT in Tbird without losing one's templates?
What is the procedure?
Does one first uninstall or disable the prior version of QT? |
Dies nobody have an answer to this.
Dont wanna remove and try again cos i think this would make me loose all templates?! |
| Download the file from this site. You will have to update to Thunderbird 17, or at least I had to because Tbird 16 said it was incompatible. In Tools-->Add-ons click the little gear icon next to the search box and choose Install Add-on from file. Go to the QTP file and choose it. It will install and the installation will be complete after you restart Tbird. All your templates will be there. |
