When Thunderbird updated to version 1.5.0.10, Quicktext disappeared. It no longer shows in the extension manager. I downloaded version 0.9.9.9, but the extension manager still does not see it. I tried the "Install now" button on the Mozilla addons page and the installation started, but then terminated with the message "Quicktext 0.9.9.9 could not be installed because it is not compatible with Firefox". How can I get Quicktext back? I am using Firefox v.2.0.0.3 and Thunderbird v.1.5.0.1
with WinXP. |
| Naturally after tearing my hair out and begging for help, the installation decided to work. Not only did the latest version install, it managed to recover the saved templates from the version that disappeared. I'm not going to ask--I don't think I want to know! |
