I get this message from Thunderbird Version 2.0.0.19 (20081209)
"Quicktext" will not be installed because it does not provide secure updates
Do you know what's happening? |
| I know that it has changed in Thunderbird 3.0 but I didn't know that they changed it in Thunderbird 2.0 |
I get the message:
Thunderbird could not install the file at: ..../quicktext_0.9.9.9.xpi
becaue: Not a valid install package

Upon closer examination I notice the the size of the file is only 186 bytes. Have tried to download several times and get the same size file.
Is there an alternate download location? Thank you. |
Solved the problem by downloading from mozillas Add-ons for Thunderbird page.

| The hosting company upgraded the server without notice and at the same time disabled functions in PHP which I use. But it is fixed now. |
