I would like to add the contents of a file using the FILE= tag, but the file name contains a date in the form YYYYMMDD. I would therefore like to be able to write something like
[[FILE=c:\timesheet_[[DATE=year]][[DATE=month]][[DATE=day]]]]

I have that on my todo list. Before I didn't had any good way of adding it but I think I just came up with something that would work.

But if you need it right now. There is Script-support in the Pro-version and I have a custom-date format function.

Would it be possible to add locale support to DATE?

Something like [[DATE=en]] or [[DATE=de]] would be fine.

The problem with locale support is that right now I use the strings that exists in Thunderbird. So if I would add locale support it would mean that I need to include all date strings for all languages in Quicktext.

One solution would be to use the Script-support that exits in the Pro version. Because then you could add the strings for the languages that you would like to use.

Well, it was just an idea of which I thought it could ease things a bit.

What about PlunderBunny's idea? You said you have something mind. Has this idea grown in the past 6 months?

I think I know how to do it. But I haven't had time to do it.

One format I keep on needing is [[DATE=dayname]] like: Monday, Tuesday, etc.
