Hi all,
I just switched from my Windows Notebook to a Macbook. I now want to use my quicktext as usual, but if I press alt+1 on the Mac I only get the special characters from the keyboard? Is alt another alt on Mac?

If you are using Thunderbird 9.X you will use control + option. If you are using Thunderbird 10.X you will need to use control + command (the apple key/four leaf clover key).
The second one seems to be some sort of key mapping change in Thunderbird 10.X. Which isn't cool as it is completely awkward to use this key combination. Hopefully the author of this software will work on Quicktext and be able to fix this. |
