Hello,
I would like to insert the content of a plain text file which lies on a samba share but it's not working. This should be possible with the free version? I tried it with [[FILE=PATH://smb/...]]. Shouldn't it be working that way?

When I uses it to insert a file that lies on my localdrive I uses [[FILE=C:\file.txt]]
So are PATH the driveletter? And I think you should use \ instead of //.
The easiest thing you can do is to click on the Variable-menu that you got in the upper right corner over the template-editing field. Then Other -> File and you will get a prompt where you can choose the file. |
