Hello, after a year using this addon without problems, suddenly the templates do not appear anymore in the write window. Also in the preferences where I edited the templates, they do not appear anymore.
I then checked the quicktext templates xml file in its directory and its ok with all my templates inside. I am on MAC OS.
Any idea what I can do ? Help would be much appreciated ! |

Same problem here, the xml file seems intact, but even if I load the XML file manually into Quicktext, the templates do not show up.
This started to happen suddenly, I have been using Quicktext for years without any problem.
I'm on a Windows system (Vista :-(), and the Quicktext version I use is 0.9.11.5
I welcome any suggestions to solve this, I was quite happy with Quicktext before....

After Updating my thudrbird to 38.0a1, the xml file seems intact, but even if I load the XML file manually into Quicktext, the templates do not show up. This started to happen suddenly, I have been using Quicktext for years without any problem.
I'm on a Windows 7 Ulitmate 64 Bit and the Quicktext version I use is 0.9.11.5
Kindky give me suggestions to solve this, I was quite happy with Quicktext before..

| Same here: No reply from Emil. I have narrowed it down to editing in the newer versions of Thunderbird when having attachments (Quicktext Pro). |
Here is a work around that I am using. I have the same problem as above.
Open Quicktext
File export
save in preferred location (for me it is the desktop)
continue working in Thunderbird
After closing and reopening Thunderbird if the templates are missing, file import from the desktop

I have been using quick text with Thunderbird (version 38.0.1) on my iMac for many months, and I just noticed that all my saves templates are no longer there (the toolbar is there when composing, but no templates).
Please tell me how to get them back! I had 20+ |
| Same problem here - all of a sudden today! I rely on these so heavily. Around 50 of them! Should have backed up. Ooops. |

Ok found the template: /Users/[username]/Library/Thunderbird/Profiles/[profilename]/quicktext/templates.xml
Can at least access the data and have backed it up!

That seems to work for a lot of Windows users so hopefully that helps some of you. Didn't work for me so any ideas appreciated! |
